Conservation is the process of preserving something from getting wasted. In the context of oil conservation it can be defined as the means in which right measures are taken to preserve oil from going in to wastage. There are many ways in which the preservation can be promoted. In order to conserve oil to avoid wastage the, right measures need to be taken. Youths are one of the people in the society who can assist in conserving of oil. One of the ways in which the youth can promote the preservation of oil is through the use of the right equipments for the storage of oil. This is because if oil is not well stored it can lead to numerous hazards, like poor storage can lead to eruption of fire which can lead to a lot of destruction if not controlled. In the process of dissemination it to people who may require it for cooking, youths need to use the right machines for dissemination to avoid spillage which contributes to pollution of the environment.
Young people can participate in promoting oil conservation through offering training to the members of the society in that, they will teach them the ways in which one can conserve oil whenever he/she buys oil for domestic use because if not well taken care it can become an heath hazard to the family especially the young children who may end up consuming it. They should ensure that petroleum is efficiently used as well as reduce the petroleum consumption from the conventional sources. There are so many advantages associated by petroleum preservation by the young people which include reduction of the cost of naphtha and it’s by products, as wells promotion of oil economic security in the world. The reckless usage of oil has resulted to the scarcity of naphtha. There is so much concern as it keeps on reducing in its mail sources and the high demand of it that is not met in the market. This has made many governmental officials especially those in the oil sector to create awareness of the efficiency way of conserving naphtha.
This awareness was mostly targeting the youth in the world. The young people are encouraged to use coal, and other energy sources like natural gas and electricity as a measure to reduce the consumption of oil therefore conserving it. The youth should get adequate education on ways and means of conserving petroleum. The education will help them create awareness of oil preservation to the old and the young ones in their homes and neighborhood as a way of promoting oil preservation. They should adapt to the use of busses as their main means of transport and avoid using their private cars in most cases in order to reduce consumption of oil which leads to high cost of maintaining them considering that some are not very stable in terms of income. If the young people are given the right knowledge on oil conservation they will come up with other unique ways of making less use of naphtha in consumption as an alternative method of ensuring no a lot of oil is used in domestic purposes.
As we all know when there is shortage of oil many activities which are geared towards development of the economy are affected, that’s the reason as to why they need to be empowered so as to empower the society on petroleum preservation.
